Cyber Boot Camp

Are you highly technical? Do you enjoy diving into the nitty-gritty details of coding and software to catch flaws and fix them? Do you want to discover how to break into systems legally and ethically and create countermeasures for vulnerabilities before cyber criminals can take advantage of them?

We designed our Cyber Boot Camp pathway for those interested in software security, software development, and penetration testing. Software security training can lead to a more secure infrastructure and fewer flaws for attackers to exploit; in fact, developers who get coaching from cybersecurity experts fix 88% more coding flaws.

Cyber Boot Camp also provides a path toward studying for challenging industry certifications like the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN), and GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) through hands-on experience in network security, exploiting software vulnerabilities, and penetration testing.

Become a penetration tester, an ethical hacker, or a security software developer through our Cyber Boot Camp micro-credential.

CYBER BOOT CAMP MICRO-CREDENTIAL                                               TUITION FEE: $5,000

The micro-credential would be paid for in increments as courses are taken. Courses can also be taken individually (tuition fees listed below).

Introduction to Information Security & Privacy

Set the foundation to succeed in cybersecurity, and build your skills toolkit with our introductory course to the cybersecurity world. Identify key security challenges, best practices, how risks manifest in networks, and more.

Note: Students can test out of taking Introduction to Information Security & Privacy for this track.

Level: Beginner      Tuition Fee: $500      Learn More >>

Network Security & Monitoring

It is estimated that a cyberattack occurs every 39 seconds on average. Learn how to protect your network by creating secure network architectures, identifying vulnerabilities, applying network defense tools, and more in Network Security & Monitoring.

Level: Intermediate      Tuition Fee: $1,000      Learn More >>

Vulnerabilities, Threats, and Attacks

A defensive security team must be right every time, while an offensive threat actor only needs to be right once. Recognize types of threats, threat actors, and vulnerabilities and determine mitigation strategies for future attacks in Vulnerabilities, Threats, and Attacks.

Level: Advanced Beginner      Tuition Fee: $1,000      Learn More >>

Offensive Boot Camp I: Understanding Vulnerabilities & Exploits

To prevent an attack, sometimes you have to think like a hacker. Learn how hackers exploit modern networks and software applications in Offensive Boot Camp I: Understanding Vulnerabilities & Exploits. A favorite among students, this course provides you with practical hands-on training in the cause and impact of software flaws.

Level: Advanced      Tuition Fee: $2,000    Learn More >>

Offensive Boot Camp II: Penetration Testing

Building off Offensive Boot Camp I, the second half of our Offensive Boot Camp series expands on the skills you acquired as you conduct a mock penetration test in a structured lab environment. Offensive Boot Camp II: Penetration Testing gives valuable insight into real-world adversarial tactics employed by cybercriminals and other threat actors.
