Chris began his career in information technology shortly after graduating from the Pennsylvania State University with a BS degree in Information Science and Technology. After accepting a position at the helpdesk of a local manufacturing company, Chris advanced through several positions over the years including database administration, server administration, application performance management, and information security.
In 2016 Chris earned his MS degree in Information Security and Assurance from Robert Morris University. During this time Chris earned his Network Plus certificate from CompTIA and wrote for the Computer and Information systems blog at the university. After earning his degree, he joined the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and attained his Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification.
Chris is currently a Cybersecurity Engineer at the SEI where he develops training exercises, lectures and demonstrations for various branches of the United States Military. In this role he is challenged with finding creative and innovative ways to teach military personal on a variety of cyber security topics while ensuring that the scenarios are as current and realistic as possible.
